Forge Remote: mobile control for serious agent workflows.
A mobile interface for remote Claude Code-style work: voice and text input, secure access patterns, and production-minded controls around an agent workflow that normally lives in the terminal.
What this project proves.
Control agent work away from desk.
Fast capture for operator intent.
Built around real agent APIs.
Remote access with constraints.
Agent workflows were trapped at the desk.
Serious coding agents can be powerful, but they usually assume the operator is in a terminal. The opportunity was to create a safer mobile control surface without pretending mobile should replace the full development environment.
Control plane, not toy chat app.
The app focused on command intent, session awareness, voice/text capture, and secure remote access patterns. The mobile layer acts as a control plane over an existing agent workflow.
A sharper model for operator-agent UX.
Forge Remote proves that AI tooling is not just about model calls. The interface, approvals, context, and safety boundaries decide whether an agent workflow is useful in real life.
